~ from the heart, through the eyes ~
This is what I tell all of my students, whether about the technique of breathing for singing, intention
for asana practice or the source of the words and emotions in a scene or monologue. With this beginning, everything else flows forward.
I believe that everyone has a unique voice and many stories to tell. People who are drawn to further their study of music, of theatre, and of yoga have a yearning in their souls to express these stories, to express themselves.
The joy we feel when we tap that creative spark
enhances not only our talents as artists and clarity as yogi(ni)s, but sets the tone for our lives as well.
So, whatever your reasons ~ learning new songs, working on monologues, preparing for auditions, enhancing your yoga practice, or simply staying in touch with your creative spirit ~ continue your own artistic, expressive journey.
It is the breath of life.
